AI summaries are now standard in Google results: SEO stays the foundation, GEO decides whether you get cited

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), which AIxH also practises under the name GSO, covers the editorial and technical practices that raise the probability of a piece of content being cited in the answers of generative AI: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI summaries. The subject is no longer theoretical: AI summaries have been live in France since 22 July 2026, and two successive Ahrefs studies measure a drop in organic clicks on the first position of 34.5% in March 2025 and then 58% in December 2025 when an AI summary is shown.

The global market for AI agents is growing by close to 50% a year and is expected to rise from $10.9 billion in 2026 to $182.9 billion by 2033, according to Grand View Research. AI visual labelling reaches a trade that has retouched for 25 years and almost never had to say so

Since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act has required a double marking of content generated or manipulated by AI (European Commission FAQ): a machine-readable technical trace, embedded in the metadata or as a watermark, which falls to the system provider, for all synthetic content; and a visible disclosure, perceptible to anyone looking at the image, which falls to whoever publishes content that could pass as authentic, including public-interest text published without editorial control. Neither obligation has a company-size threshold, and the fine can reach €15 million or 3% of worldwide turnover.

Luxembourg companies are moving from AI awareness to AI integration

AI training in Luxembourg is changing in nature: the 2026 survey by FEDIL, the Luxembourg AI Factory and Luxinnovation counts 59% of organisations that have deployed generative AI company-wide or have concrete use cases in production, a long way from the discovery workshop alone. That shift changes what a company comes looking for in AI training in Luxembourg: less an explanation of the tools than support for their daily use.
