AIxH offers Gemini training in Luxembourg as part of its AI training programme. Its status as a continuing vocational training organisation approved under no. 10156897/1 by the Ministry of the Economy, together with the formats, prices and co-funding common to all the modules, is presented on the AI training & upskilling page.
Gemini, developed by Google, is built directly into Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet. For a team already working on Google Workspace, the AI is already there in the everyday tools, without a separate chat window to open. The training uses that starting point, then widens to what makes Gemini unusual: native analysis of video and audio, then image and video creation with Nano Banana and Veo.

What does the Gemini training module cover?
The programme's foundation (how large language models work, prompt engineering, ethics, governance, confidentiality and GDPR) is described on the programme page. The Gemini module then takes place inside participants' own Workspace accounts, from everyday Gmail and Docs through to image and video creation.
Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, every day
Draft and answer emails from Gmail, produce a first draft in Docs, build formulas and analyses in Sheets, get automatic minutes of a Meet call.
Solid reasoning and the largest context window
Gemini reasons in depth before answering and accepts volumes that other tools turn away: whole case files analysed in a single pass. The workshop also shows the limit: past a certain volume, reliability drops, and you need to know how to split the material.
Analysing a video or an audio recording
Gemini is the tool in the programme that handles video and audio natively: summarise a recorded meeting or question a YouTube video the way you would question a document. Participants come with their own recordings.
Questioning your own documents with NotebookLM
NotebookLM answers only from the documents you give it, with a verifiable citation for every answer, linked to the source passage. It also turns them into formats ready to share: a quiz, a mind map, a presentation or an audio summary. The workshop sets up a notebook on one of the team's case files, up to an onboarding kit.

A Gem is an assistant configured for one precise task, with its own instructions and reference documents: the Google counterpart of custom GPTs, shareable within the team. The workshop builds one around an identified need.
Creating images with Nano Banana
Google's image model starts from a brief or a reference image: adapting a product visual, changing a format, keeping a character consistent from one image to the next. The session generates visuals on participants' own cases.
Generating video with Veo
Veo, Google's video model, produces short sequences from a text or a photo, sound included. Enough to prototype a social media format before committing to a production. The training shows what is still a demonstration and what is already usable.

Frequently asked questions about the Gemini training
Do you need a specific Google Workspace or Gemini subscription to attend the training?
Most of the exercises are done in a standard Google Workspace account. Some advanced features depend on the company's subscription tier: the content is aligned beforehand with the account the team actually has.
How is this different from the ChatGPT and Claude training courses?
Every module in the programme shares the same workshop format and the same approval and co-funding conditions. Gemini stands out by its working ground: Gmail, Docs, Sheets and video analysis here, rather than personalising the assistant (GPTs, projects, agents) on the ChatGPT side, or long documents and file agents (Cowork) on the Claude side.
What is NotebookLM, and is it covered in the training?
It is a Google tool that answers exclusively from the documents you provide, without mixing in general knowledge. The training shows how to set it up for one of the team's case files or projects.
What is a Gem, and is it covered in the training?

Can Gemini analyse a video or an audio recording?

The tool can still be used on its own, but the module's main benefit, integration into Gmail, Docs and Sheets, only applies to companies equipped with Workspace. Without Workspace, a ChatGPT or Claude training course is a better starting point.
Does Gemini use company data to train its models?
The Workspace administration settings and the licence tier determine the answer. The company's configuration is reviewed beforehand, as an extension of the programme's governance strand.
