Diagnosis
A digital maturity diagnosis (IT infrastructure, IT security, software) carried out by an approved consultant, completed by a costed action plan. Flat fee of €5,000 excl. VAT, fully covered by a subsidy of the same amount.
Programme run by Luxinnovation and supported by the Ministry of the Economy. The application must be filed before signing any quote. Details on guichet.lu.
Digital implementation
70% of eligible costs reimbursed on a project of €3,000 to €25,000 excl. VAT, up to €17,500 of aid: creating or improving a website, digital marketing and social media campaigns, an ERP-type management system, electronic invoicing.
A first meeting at the House of Entrepreneurship (Chamber of Commerce) or the eHandwierk service (Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts) is compulsory, and the grant application must be validated before the project starts. Details on guichet.lu.
AI implementation
The same mechanism, dedicated to artificial intelligence: 70% of eligible costs on a project of €3,000 to €25,000 excl. VAT, to set up an AI tool that is simple to deploy in the company's processes, on a project already identified.
Five SME Packages have existed since March 2025: Digital, Service, Sustainability, Cybersecurity and AI. They do not exclude one another: each package funds a separate project. Details on guichet.lu.
Skills
The State contributes 15% (taxable) of the annual investment in training, participants' salary costs included, with the investment capped according to company size. The application is filed with the INFPC by 31 May following the end of the financial year at the latest.
The State also covers up to €500 of file preparation costs. Details on lifelong-learning.lu.

Sequence
The schemes follow on from one another. The Fit 4 Digital diagnosis establishes a current-state review and a costed action plan, which the company remains free to follow or not. Implementation then falls under the SME Packages: the Digital package for a generic digital tool, the AI package for a specific artificial intelligence project. These packages do not exclude one another: each funds a separate project, and the same SME can use the Digital package for its website or its campaigns, then the AI package for an artificial intelligence tool, within the de minimis aid ceiling of €300,000 over three financial years set by Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, the legal basis of the scheme. Upskilling the teams, for its part, relies on training co-funding.
Three timing rules avoid unpleasant surprises. The Fit 4 Digital application is filed before signing any quote at all. The SME Packages require a pre-analysis by the House of Entrepreneurship or eHandwierk before any filing, and the grant application must be validated by the Ministry of the Economy before the project starts: these grants are designed as an incentive, and a cost already incurred is not reimbursed retroactively (Luxinnovation FAQ); the 70% reimbursement itself is paid once the project has been completed. Training co-funding is applied for afterwards, within the 5 months following the end of the financial year, by 31 May at the latest.

AIxH's role
Our role starts before the application: matching your project to the right scheme, and framing it so that it can be funded. A website and campaigns fall under the SME Package Digital, with our digital advertising team or our content and social media service. The two packages can follow one another for the same SME, each project being the subject of its own application, filed before the project starts. Training your teams, delivered by our approved organisation, counts towards the co-funding base, and we provide the supporting documents your INFPC file requires.
One limit, stated openly: the Fit 4 Digital diagnosis is carried out by an approved consultant selected by Luxinnovation, and the decision to award a grant belongs in every case to the public bodies. We never promise that a grant will be obtained. We make sure the project deserves it.

Any private-sector company legally established in Luxembourg can apply for a State grant of 15% (taxable) of its annual investment in training, participants' salary costs included. The investment taken into account is capped according to company size: 20% of payroll for 1 to 9 employees, 3% for 10 to 249, 2% above that. The application is filed with the INFPC by 31 May following the end of the financial year at the latest, and the State covers up to €500 of file preparation costs. Compulsory training for regulated professions is excluded.
