Assembling your toolkit becomes a choice made use case by use case and reviewed regularly, rather than a subscription taken out once and for all.
In practice, the difference shows task by task: the best tool for writing a page is not necessarily the best for analysing a data table or producing a visual. Testing the tools on real business cases, your own, is how you identify the right combination, far more reliably than following whatever is well known at the moment.
For teams, the practical consequence is to set up a regular review of the toolkit: what was the right choice six months ago may no longer be, and the performance gaps between tools on the same task easily justify an hour of testing per quarter. It is a matter of digital hygiene, a habit rather than a project.
